Man United plotting shock move for Chelsea star

Manchester United are interested in a shock move for Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic, according to reports. 

As per The Athletic, the US international team captain is interested in a move to Old Trafford, and has also had offers from other clubs including Newcastle United, Juventus and Atletico Madrid.

Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag is keen to add to his attacking options with Cristiano Ronaldo’s future still undecided, and Pulisic is seen as a suitable candidate to improve his frontline.

The report claims that United are interested in a loan move for the 23-year-old, who joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in 2019 for a fee of £57.6 million.

Since then, the forward has scored 25 goals and provided 19 assists in 117 games for The Blues.

He has been frustrated by his lack of playing time under Thomas Tuchel though, despite the pair having worked together previously in Germany.

The American was limited to just 13 league starts last term, and the arrival of Raheem Sterling is likely to reduce his playing time even further.

The player is keen to guarantee himself more regular playing time ahead of the World Cup this winter.
