Man United are willing to pay off German midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger in order to get him off their books in January, according to The Sun.
As per the report, the club are willing to pay the retired Germany international a whopping £10m in severance fees if they are able to find a club for him in January.
The former Bayern Munich man has been exiled by new United boss Jose Mourinho and has not made an appearance for the Red Devils since March.
The World Cup winner is reportedly on £180k-a-week at Old Trafford and with two years remaining on his current deal, he is still owed around £18m in wages, thus may not like the idea of taking an £8m wage cut.
According to The Sun there is currently no interest in the 32-year-old, however a deal from either China or the MLS could be on the table in the future.
