Manchester United have scheduled a meeting with the mother of Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot as they look to complete a deal for the player.

Rabiot’s mother, Veronique, is also his agent and will meet with United officials including director John Murtough in an effort to strike a deal, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Red Devils have already agreed a deal with the midfielder’s current club Juventus, but are yet to agree personal terms, Romano claims.

Rabiot is a target for Manchester United

A fee of around 17 million Euros has been agreed between the two clubs, but attention has now turned to personal terms.

United have already signed midfielder Christian Eriksen on a free transfer this summer but, after an opening day defeat at home to Brighton and Hove Albion, Erik ten Hag is keen to add reinforcements to his squad.

Rabiot has made 129 appearances for the Serie A side since joining from Paris Saint-Germain in 2019.

The meeting will take place in Turin in the coming days, Romano claims.
