Manchester United face rivals Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Sunday.

The Red Devils produced another underwhelming display but were yet again victorious last time out against Everton.

Alejandro Garnacho won two first-half penalties at Old Trafford, which were duly converted by Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford to earn United all three points.

Liverpool will undoubtedly provide a much tougher test for Erik ten Hag’s side, though, as the Reds chase an unprecedented quadruple in Jurgen Klopp’s final season in charge of the club.

In the meantime, it appears that United have been scouting potential transfer targets ahead of this summer’s window.

As per Italian outlet Tuttosport via TEAMtalk, the Manchester club had scouts in attendance at Juventus’ game against Atalanta on Sunday.

Koopmeiners scored twice against Juventus on Sunday

It is claimed that United’s scouts were watching Juventus star Gleison Bremer, as well as Atalanta duo Teun Koopmeiners and Giorgio Scalvini.

Koopmeiners stole the show in Turin, scoring twice to earn his side a valuable draw against The Old Lady.

The 26-year-old’s first strike was a stunning curled effort from the edge of the box, before he added his second of the game to take his tally to 10 Serie A goals this term.

The attacking midfielder is enjoying a fine season so far, having netted 12 times in 33 games for Atalanta across all competitions.

Defender Bremer, meanwhile, made his 71st appearance for Juventus, having joined the club from Turin rivals Torino in the summer of 2022.

Scalvini, 20, is another centre-back being considered by United as they look to bolster Ten Hag’s defensive options.

The youngster has been a regular for his boyhood club for almost three years now, racking up more than 80 appearances for the club across all competitions.
