Manchester United welcome Bournemouth to Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils have endured a difficult start to the season but have masked poor performances with narrow victories on several occasions.

Last time out, United beat Chelsea 2-1 at Old Trafford courtesy of a Scott McTominay brace.

Despite the Red Devils’ impressive run of form, manager Erik ten Hag continues to deal with off field issues, most notably Jadon Sancho’s continued exile from the first team.

The winger hasn’t featured for United since a public fall out with his manager in the summer, and it appears that the Englishman could soon be on his way out of Manchester.

According to BILD via The Mirror, German side Borussia Dortmund are set for talks with United over a possible move to re-sign Jadon Sancho.

Sancho faces an uncertain future

The report claims that the two clubs are set for talks in the near future, with United potentially set to sign Dortmund forward Donyell Malen in return.

Sancho joined United from Dortmund in 2021 having scored 50 goals and provided 64 assists in 137 matches across all competitions for the German club.

Since returning to England, though, the former Manchester City academy star has struggled to impress.

In total he has scored just 12 times in 82 games, and he hasn’t featured for the club since the end of August.

After leaving Sancho out of the United squad for their game against Arsenal, manager Ten Hag cited Sancho’s attitude in training as the reason for his decision.

The player then responded on social media, and has since been left out of the first team squad, being forced to train with the youth teams.

Ten Hag is said to be demanding that the England international apologises to him, but at present the player’s future remains extremely uncertain.
