Manchester United will hope to keep alive their hopes of European qualification when they host Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils currently sit eighth in the table after a poor run of form, and are at risk of missing out on a place in next season’s Europa League.

The Gunners, meanwhile, remain firmly in the hunt for the Premier League title and will look to maintain their one-point lead over reigning champions Manchester City with victory at Old Trafford.

Off the pitch, though, one of United’s most experienced players has reportedly been in talks with a foreign club.

As per CaughtOffside, veteran midfielder Casemiro has been in contact with Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr.

The report claims that the Pro League side have made contact with the representatives of the 32-year-old, who has struggled for consistency this term and looks increasingly likely to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Casemiro could move to the Saudi Pro League this summer

Casemiro joined United from Spanish giants Real Madrid back in 2022 and played an integral role for the Red Devils during his first 18 months in Manchester.

He fell out of favour at the start of the current campaign, though, and has more recently been used as a makeshift central defender, as opposed to his more natural midfield role.

In total Casemiro has played 80 times for Man United since joining the club two years ago, but the report claims that he is open to leaving the club this summer.

Al-Nassr, who already have United legend Cristiano Ronaldo in their squad, are said to be willing to pay United a fee in the region of £35 million to land the player.

The Pro League giants would also be willing to offer Casemiro a three-year contract, with his current United one only set to run until 2026.
