Manchester United will reject offers for forward Anthony Martial this summer after the Frenchman’s impressive pre-season form.

The striker spent part of last season on loan at Spanish side Sevilla and his Old Trafford career looked to be all but over, however new manager Erik ten Hag has been impressed by him and is now keen to keep the player, according to The Mirror.

The report claims that Italian side Juventus are interested in the player, but the Red Devils will reject any offers for the 26-year-old during the current window.

Martial endured a tough time in Spain

The France international scored in each of United’s first three pre-season fixtures, and has now been told by the club that he will not be leaving anytime soon.

Martial made an instant impact when he arrived in Manchester in 2015, scoring 17 goals during his first season including a debut goal against Liverpool.

He has struggled in recent seasons though, and departed for Seville in January on a short-term loan deal.

His loan spell didn’t quite go to plan, though, as he failed to score in any of his nine La Liga appearances.
