Manchester United travel to London to face Premier League rivals Arsenal in the pick of the weekend’s FA Cup third round ties.

The Red Devils go into Sunday’s match at The Emirates in high spirits, having drawn 2-2 against top flight leaders Liverpool in their last outing.

That result ended a run of three consecutive league defeat for Ruben Amorim’s side, who now sit 13th in the Premier League standings.

The Portuguese may see the FA Cup as United’s best chance of silverware this term, and he will therefore want to se his side progress past their fierce rivals Arsenal.

In the meantime, it has emerged that one of United’s highest earners has been offered an even more lucrative contract by a Saudi club.

As reported by GiveMeSport, midfielder Casemiro has been offered a contract worth a staggering £650,000-per-week by Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr.

The report claims that Pro League sporting director Michael Emenalo – formerly of Chelsea – is spearheading the division’s bid to lure the Brazilian to the Middle East.

Casemiro has been offered the chance to become one of the highest paid players in the Saudi Pro League

If they are successful in signing the 32-year-old, Casemiro will join Al-Nassr, who currently have former United forward Cristiano Ronaldo in their ranks.

Casemiro joined United from Spanish giants Real Madrid in 2022 – on a deal that earns him around £450,000-per-week including bonuses – and has since played more than 100 times for the Red Devils across all competitions.

He fell slightly out of favour last term, though, and has failed to establish himself as a regular under Amorim since the Portuguese arrived at Old Trafford at the end of last year.

The Brazil international has started just three of Amorim’s nine league matches in charge and, while he had been linked with a summer exit, the report claims that Casemiro could look to leave Old Trafford this month.

If the deal were to come to fruition, the midfielder would become one of the highest earners in the Saudi Pro League.

The report claims that those in charge of United value the player at around £25 million.
