Manchester United came from two goals behind to beat Nottingham Forest 3-2 on Saturday.

The visitors raced into a shock two-goal lead inside five minutes at Old Trafford, before goals from Christian Eriksen, Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes turned the match on its head.

Manager Erik ten Hag will have been frustrated with his side’s performance, though, and the Red Devils are yet to reach the levels of performance that they showed last term.

Now, it appears that one of their players is on his way out of the club after months of speculation.

As per 90min, goalkeeper Dean Henderson is set to undergo a medical ahead of a proposed move to Crystal Palace.

The Englishman is a product of United’s academy but has played a bit-part role for the majority of his Old Trafford career.

In total the ‘keeper has made 29 appearances across all competitions, keeping 13 clean sheets.

Henderson is set to join Crystal Palace on a permanent deal

Back in 2021, Henderson surpassed David de Gea as United’s number one and spent several weeks as the club’s first choice ‘keeper.

He then suffered an injury that summer, though, which stumped his progression and also allowed De Gea to regain his starting spot.

Last term Henderson was sent on loan to Nottingham Forest and the one-time England international impressed initially, before again suffering an injury and eventually losing his starting spot to January arrival Kaylor Navas.

He returned to Old Trafford earlier this summer, but the arrival of Andre Onana from Inter Milan reiterated Henderson’s need to leave the club in order to find regular first team football.

It had been suggested that he could return to the City Ground, but he will instead join Roy Hodgson’s Eagles.

The report claims that Henderson is set to complete a £15 million move to Selhurst Park that also includes £5 million in add-ons.
