It does not get any bigger than hosting your fierce rivals the first full capacity Old Trafford since March 2020.

Fortunately for Manchester United they put on a show for the ages after demolishing Leeds United 5-1 at The Theatre of Dreams.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side troubled the Reds at first and even equalised Mason Greenwood’s goal with a fantastic strike by Luke Ayling.

Unfortunately, that only awoken a beast in the Red Devils as they breathed fire and hammered home four goals in 16 minutes.

Bruno Fernandes grabbed a hat-trick, but the star of the show was Paul Pogba who contributed four quality assists in what is arguably his best game in a United shirt.

And his performances have earned other admirers as reports from The Independent are suggesting Paris Saint-Germain could be set to offer the Frenchman a whopping £510,000 per week.

Pogba dominated Leeds in United’s 5-1 win against their rivals.

The Parisians have enjoyed one of the greatest ever transfer windows having signed Achraf Hakimi from Inter Milan for £54 million, before sealing the astonishing free signings off Gianluigi Donnarumma, Sergio Ramos, Georginio Wijnaldum and, of course, Lionel Messi.

But with Pogba’s contract set to expire next year, Mauricio Pochettino’s side are already trying to get a head start by putting together this wage packet ahead of next season.

The 28-year-old also enjoyed a stellar Euro 2020, and it appears he could carry this form into next season for United.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are also trying to put together a new contract for Pogba to sign before he is allowed to leave for nothing upon its expiration next season.
