Rasmus Hojlund’s late goal rescued a point for Manchester United against Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils are enduring a dismal domestic campaign and looked set for a 16th Premier League defeat of the campaign when Antoine Semenyo put the hosts in front on the south coast.

Ruben Amorim’s side looked set for yet another defeat until Hojlund found the back of the net deep into added time, rescuing a point for the Manchester outfit.

This summer could be one of significant change at Old Trafford, with Amorim likely to want to overhaul his underperforming squad during his first summer transfer window in charge.

It appears, though, that one of his most senior players is likely to depart.

According to Football Insider, midfielder Casemiro is still likely to leave United this summer despite becoming a regular for Amorim’s side of late.

Casemiro could leave Old Trafford at the end of the season

The 33-year-old joined United from Real Madrid in 2022 and initially impressed in England, although his form has dipped over the past 12 months or so.

Having initially struggled to force his way into Amorim’s team when the Portuguese first took charge, Casemiro has featured regularly in recent weeks and has been arguably one of United’s better performers.

In total he has featured 120 times for the Red Devils, including 37 games so far this season.

Casemiro’s contract with United isn’t set to expire until the end of next term, but the report suggests that United will allow the player to leave this summer if a suitable offer is received.

Clubs in the Saudi Pro League have been linked with a move for the Brazilian previously, but it remains to be seen whether or not they remain interested in a potential move.

United paid more than £60 million to sign the midfielder less than three years ago, but they are set to make a significant financial loss if he does depart this summer.
