Manchester United continued their fine run of form with a 3-0 win over Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday.

The Red Devils have now won five of their last six matches in the Premier League, leaving them sixth in the top flight table.

Next up for United is a trip to Turkey to face Galatasaray in a potentially crucial Champions League tie, before travelling to the North East to face Newcastle United at St James’ Park.

Ahead of the game, it appears that one of United’s most experienced players could soon leave the club.

Midfielder Casemiro is likely to quit the club next summer, according to Football Insider.

The Brazilian joined United from Real Madrid last summer and made an instant impact at Old Trafford, but he has struggled for consistency in the early weeks of the current campaign.

Casemiro could leave Manchester United next summer

In total the 31-year-old has made 63 appearances for Erik ten Hag’s side across all competitions, including 36 in the Premier League.

The Brazil international, who has missed United’s last five league games due to injury, is contracted to United until the summer of 2026.

It appears increasingly likely that the experienced central midfielder will depart Old Trafford prior to that date though, with Saudi Arabian clubs said to be interested in signing him.

While the player would likely attract interest from a number of clubs across Europe, the report suggests that only clubs in the Pro League would be able to afford both a transfer fee for Casemiro, and his reported £330,000-per-week wages.

Casemiro, who cost United around £70 million last summer, is said to be prepared to depart Old Trafford at the end of the current season.

United, similarly, are prepared to allow the player to leave the club next summer when they will be able to command a fee for him, rather than losing him for free at the end of his contract.
