Manchester United striker James Wilson is poised to complete a loan move to Celtic in January.

The 13-time Premier League champions are reportedly willing to allow the England Under-21 international to leave Old Trafford in the New Year for more first-team opportunities elsewhere.

The 19-year-old, who has been restricted to just one substitute appearance so far this season, has scored four goals in 19 first-team appearances for United.

However; the £36m arrival of France ace Anthony Martial over the summer knocked Wilson further down manager Louis van Gaal’s pecking order, meaning Wilson is likely to spend the remainder of the season with the Scottish Premiership champions from January.
