Manchester United will hope to put an end to Liverpool’s hopes of a quadruple when the two sides meet in the FA Cup on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp’s side remain on course to win four trophies this season, a feat that is unprecedented in English top flight football.

Having already lifted the Carabao Cup, the Reds are in the running to win the Premier League and also remain in both the FA Cup and the Europa League.

For United, though, the FA Cup represents their last remaining chance to lift a trophy this term after a premature exit from the Champions League at the group stage.

Off the pitch, it appears that United have made a big decision about their transfer policy for this summer.

As reported by 90min, the Red Devils won’t entertain swap deal offers from Borussia Dortmund for winger Jadon Sancho.

Sancho has endured a frustrating spell ever since joining Man United

The Englishman is currently on loan at the German club and is expected to leave United permanently when the transfer window reopens this summer, but the report claims that United will reject Dortmund’s offer to sign him if it includes a player-plus-cash element.

Sancho, 23, joined United from Dortmund in 2021 after demonstrating remarkable form for the German side.

He struggled for the Red Devils, though, before falling out with Ten Hag and ultimately being ousted from the first team squad late last year.

After several weeks out of action, Sancho was sent back to the Bundesliga side on loan in January, and he has since made eight league appearances in Germany.

Whilst Sancho is on loan at Dortmund, the German side will pay a portion of his wages and also paid United around £2.5 million as a loan fee to secure his services for the remainder of the season.

The two sides failed to reach an agreement on an option-to-buy clause, though, meaning that the player’s future remains in doubt ahead of the summer transfer window.
