Manchester United can move to within five points of Premier League leaders Arsenal with victory over Leicester City on Sunday.

The Red Devils have lost just once in nine league games since the World Cup and now look likely to secure a top four spot and guarantee themselves a place in the Champions League next term.

Marcus Rashford’s form has been crucial to United’s good recent record, with the Englishman scoring prolifically since the return of club football after the World Cup.

Now, though, United have reportedly decided on a price tag for the striker if they are forced to sell him this summer.

As per The Daily Star, The Red Devils will demand as much as £120 million for the England international if they are pressured into selling him at the end of the season.

The forward’s current contract was due to expire at the end of the current campaign, but the club triggered a 12-month extension to give them more time to agree a new long-term deal.

It is claimed that Rashford has been offered a new deal worth around £300,000-per-week, but the striker is yet to sign the extension.

United will demand £120 million for Rashford if he is to be sold this summer

The 25-year-old has scored 14 goals in his last 16 games across all competitions, with his latest coming against Barcelona at The Nou Camp on Thursday.

That strike took the player’s goal tally for the season to 22 across all competitions, while he has also registered eight assists.

The Englishman will undoubtedly be the subject of interest from clubs across Europe this summer, and with just 12 months remaining on his deal United may consider selling the striker in order to avoid losing him for free next summer.

United are reluctant to let such an important player leave though, and will therefore continue trying to persuade the player to commit his future to the Old Trafford side.

Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are said to be among the clubs that could potentially move for Rashford during the upcoming summer transfer window.

In total, the forward has scored 115 goals in 338 matches across all competitions for United, as well as providing 65 assists.
