Manchester United have put their hat in the ring to sign Leeds United star Raphinha, according to reports.

The Brazil international has been the Whites’ standout player so far in a difficult season, top scoring with eight goals in 16 appearances.

But, according to the Manchester Evening News, United have registered their interest in signing the 25-year-old over one of the next two transfer windows.

Raphinha celebrates scoring against Arsenal.

It’s claimed that Chelsea and Liverpool are also keen on the former Rennes star who the Yorkshire side value at £40 million.

With Bayern Munich also thought to be monitoring the exciting winger, it seems that the South American is destined to join a club competing in the Champions League.

Despite this, with Raphinha under contract until the summer of 2024 and a battle to avoid the drop very much on for Marcelo Bielsa’s side, Leeds fans will hope they can keep their star number 10 until at least the summer.

Since moving to the Premier League in October 2020 for £17 million plus add-ons, Raphinha has registered 14 goals and 10 assists in 47 appearances under Bielsa’s management.
