Manchester United are reportedly eyeing a deal to boost their already packed forward line.

The Red Devils currently have Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani, Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Jadon Sancho all fighting for spots in the first XI.

However, according to Spanish publication AS, United have ‘enquired’ over the possibility of signing Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix.

The Portuguese star signed for the Spanish side from Benfica for a mammoth £113 million in the summer of 2019.

However, it’s claimed that the La Liga champions are willing to part with the 22-year-old who has struggled for game time and fitness this term.

Felix has started just three La Liga matches this term.

The report claims that Atletico president Gil Marin will let him leave if Felix’s agent Jorge Mendes attracts a suitable offer.

It’s claimed that Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle United have also made a similar enquiry to United as clubs start planning for the January window.

Felix, whose contract with Atletico runs until the summer of 2026, has provided 20 goals and 11 assists in 88 appearances for the Spanish club.
