Manchester United are reportedly considering a move for Napoli ace Jorginho.
The 13-time Premier League champions, who currently sit third in the league table, are thought to have joined rivals Liverpool and Southampton in the chase for the defensive midfielder.
The 23-year-old, who rose to fame at former club Hellas Verona during their promotion to Serie A back in 2013, has made seven appearances in all competitions so far this season.
Last week it was revealed that Liverpool and Southampton both made approaches to sign the Brazilian star, with new Reds boss Jurgen Klopp understood to be keen on bringing him to Anfield during the New Year period.
However United boss Louis van Gaal is now alert to Jorginho’s services ahead of a potential January move, although the player is valued between £15m-£22m by the Naples club.
