Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Brazil international forward Felipe Anderson.

The 13-time Premier League champions, who surprisingly lost 2-1 at home to struggling Norwich City last weekend, are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements during the January transfer window after going without a league win since November 21.

Anderson; 22, who made his international debut against Mexico back in June, has scored five and assisted a further three goals in 25 appearances in all competitions for Italian outfit Lazio so far this season.

However with reports suggesting manager Louis van Gaal could be sacked if the Old Trafford club fail to defeat Stoke City on Boxing Day, it is understood that United could miss out on Anderson’s signature to fellow suitors Bayern Munich and Chelsea.

The Brazilian winger is thought to be valued at around £45m.
