Manchester United are reportedly failing to give up on their pursuit of Portugal Under-19 international Renato Sanches, according to the Daily Mail.

The 13-time Premier League champions, who face Derby County tonight in the fourth-round of the FA Cup, are keen on snapping up the highly-rated Benfica midfielder.

The 18-year-old, who came through the Portuguese giants’ youth ranks, has scored two goals in 12 league appearances for the Liga NOS outfit this season.

Sanches; who reportedly has a buy-out clause close to a whopping £60m, could be sold for around half that sum before the close of the January transfer window, with significant add-ons.
