Reported Manchester United target Boubacar Kamara has outlined his wage demands, according to The Athletic.

The 22-year-old has been a key player for Marseille since making his debut at the age of 17, playing 144 times in all competitions.

However, the defensive midfielder’s contract is set to expire in the summer and he will become a free agent.

The Athletic report states that Kamara is looking to earn £150,000 a week and is being tracked by the Red Devils.

It’s suggested that United see the Frenchman as a possible replacement for  Paul Pogba, who is also out of contract at the end of the season.

Pogba could leave Old Trafford for free in the summer.

Kamara turned down a move to both Wolves and Newcastle United in the last transfer window, while it’s thought Barcelona and Bayern Munich are also interested.

It’s unclear whether Marseille will sell their asset in January in order to earn a transfer fee but they could be forced to do so if Kamara’s reluctance to sign a new deal continues.

Marseille are currently third in Ligue 1 and will compete in the Europa Conference League after getting knocked out at the group stage of the Europa League.
