Man Utd weigh up £30m offer for Switzerland international

Manchester United are reportedly weighing up a £30m January bid for Switzerland international defender Ricardo Rodriguez.

The 13-time Premier League champions, who face Sheffield United in the FA Cup this evening, are thought to be ready to launch a move for the Wolfsburg left-back after this weekend’s action.

The 23-year-old, who has 33 international caps for his country, has scored twice and assisted two goals in 20 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit this season.

Rodriguez, who helped the Germans knock out the Red Devils during their final UEFA Champions League group game back in December, is thought to also be attracting interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid.
