Manchester City have reportedly joined the chase to land Italy international striker Andrea Belotti, according to the Mirror.

The Premier League side, who host Stoke City on Wednesday night in the top-flight, where victory will help the club snatch second spot from Tottenham, have been linked with a mega-money move for the in-form Torino hitman this summer.

The 23-year-old, who has three goals in five international caps for the Azzurri, has impressively netted 24 times and provided four assists in 27 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A outfit so far this season.

Belotti, who is understood to have an enormous £86m buyout clause, is also said to be attracting interest from Premier League rivals Arsenal and Chelsea, as well as La Liga giants Real Madrid.

The in-demand Italian star netted a sensational eight-minute hat-trick for Torino during Sunday’s 3-1 victory over former club Palermo.

He arrived at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino in August 2015, and has since scored 36 goals in 63 games overall.
