Manchester City must snap up these 2 Bundesliga stars in January

It’s not the first time that we’ve mentioned Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as a target for Manchester City, and it’s not likely to be the last if he continues to score goals at an incredible rate.

The Gabon international scored 25 goals in his second season at Borussia Dortmund in 2015, and then netted a staggering 39 times in 49 games for the club last time out, including a stunning run of 22 goals in his first 18 games of the season.

Aubameyang hasn’t let up this season either, and netted his 15th of the campaign in just his 14th appearance in Dortmund’s 1-0 win over Bayern Munich on Saturday.

The forward confirmed that he held talks with City over the summer and, although it will likely force City to break their transfer record to bring him to England, it’s a move they’ve got to try and complete in January.
