Manchester City are reportedly in the race to land France international starlet Kylian Mbappe this summer, according to L’Equipe.

The Premier League side, who have already brought in Bernardo Silva, Ederson, Kyle Walker, Douglas Luiz, Danilo and Benjamin Mendy so far this transfer window, have been continuously linked with a mega-money move for the AS Monaco striker ahead of the forthcoming 2017-18 campaign.

The 18-year-old, who has four international caps for his country, scored a remarkable 26 goals and provided 14 assists in 44 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 champions last season.

Mbappe, who is also being targeted by fellow French giants Paris Saint-Germain and La Liga champions Real Madrid, is understood to be wanting a move away from Monaco this summer.

The talented teenager netted twice against Pep Guardiola’s City in the last-16 of the UEFA Champions League last term, as Leonardo Jardim’s men reached the competition’s semi-finals, before being knocked out by Serie A outfit Juventus.
