Manchester City are poised to agree a deal to sign Colombia international forward Marlos Moreno, according to the Daily Mail.

The Premier League side, who host Sunderland at the Etihad Stadium on the opening day of the forthcoming 2016/17 English top-flight campaign on August 13, have been linked with a move for the highly-rated Atletico Nacional winger throughout this summer transfer window.

The 19-year-old, who has seven international caps for his country and featured for Colombia at this summer’s Copa America where they eventually finished in third-place, has scored three goals and provided four assists in 15 appearances in all competitions so far this season.

Moreno, who is set to cost the Citizens around £8m, is set to be unveiled as the club’s latest addition on Saturday.

The player’s agent; Eladio Tamayo, confirmed on Thursday that the right winger would be penning a five-year deal to join Pep Guardiola’s side, before going immediately on loan to Deportivo La Coruna for the 2016/17 campaign.
