Manchester City have completed a deal for teenage Leicester City defender Camron Gbadebo.

The 17-year-old had been on trial with the Citizens and, after impressing the coaches, has signed for an undisclosed fee.

Nigerian-born Gbadebo joined the Foxes in the summer of 2018 and went on to make 11 appearances for their Under-18s.

The centre-back, who has also spent time in the youth ranks of Crystal Palace and Watford, shared his delight at the switch on Instagram.

I’m so happy to announce that I’ve signed for @mancity,” he posted.

Gbadebo, who will link up with City’s academy, becomes the Premier League champion’s second January signing after the capture of 17-year-old winger Liam Smith from Kilmarnock.
