Manchester City still harbour hopes of winning the Premier League title despite being ten points behind the leaders Leicester City with the same number of matches to play, albeit they do have a game in-hand on the Foxes.

While they must be solid at the back, the Citizens also know that the prolific Sergio Aguero will have to carry on firing in the final games if Manuel Pellegrini’s team are to stay in contention.

The Argentine has 16 goals in 21 top flight appearances this term, and it could have been even more had he not missed a penalty, and the chance to get his hat-trick, in the 4-0 success against Aston Villa at the weekend.

Aguero has scored 10 more goals than his nearest competitors in the City side – Raheem Sterling and Yaya Toure – and will still be confident of ending the campaign at the top of both his club’s and the league’s goalscoring charts – he is currently just three strikes behind Leicester’s Jamie Vardy.
