Sergio Aguero scored five goals against Newcastle United during Manchester City’s 6-1 rout over the Magpies back in October.

How manager Manuel Pellegrini wishes he could clothe his star striker in bubble wrap! With a fit and raring to go Sergio Aguero in Manchester City’s starting eleven, the Citizens look destined to outscore their opponents in a bid to lift their third Premier League title.

Despite finishing eight points behind eventual English top-flight champions Chelsea back in May; the Argentinian goal machine picked up the division’s Golden Boot award after netting a magnificent 26 goals in 33 league games.

Fast forward to this term; injuries have taken its toll on City’s main man, but the 27-year-old remains the club’s top goalscorer this campaign in the Premier League, scoring seven times in 11 appearances, including FIVE against Newcastle United back in October.

With Pellegrini’s men currently tussling it out with the likes of Arsenal, surprise package Leicester City and Tottenham at the top of the table this New Year, the Chilean boss will be keeping his fingers crossed that Aguero can kick-start 2016 with a bang.
