Agüero has been City’s danger man again despite their disappointing results.

Due to reaching the Capital One Cup final, Manchester City only had three matches during February, but their Premier League title challenge took a huge hit as they only took three points from a possible nine, losing at home to two of their rivals at the top – Leicester City and Tottenham.

The month began with the Citizens announcing that Pep Guardiola would be their new manager next season, and things looked to going well when Manuel Pellegrini’s side recorded a 1-0 win at lowly Sunderland. The goalscorer on that night was their Player of the Month – Sergio Aguero.

You pretty much you are guaranteed goals with the Argentine striker if you provide him with adequate service, and he also netted in the disappointing 3-1 defeat to the Foxes at the Etihad in their next match.

Pellegrini will know that he needs Aguero to fire in the remaining matches if City are to have a chance of winning their third Premier League title.
