‘Captain Fantastic’ comes fifth in Man City’s FIFA 17 rankings, although he suffers a one-point reduction from his FIFA 16 rating (85) ahead of the game’s new release later this month.

The 30-year-old, who has not featured for his club since suffering a thigh strain against Real Madrid in the Champions League back in April, is still City’s best ranked defender, despite the summer arrival of highly-rated England international John Stones.

Kompany, who was forced to miss Belgium’s Euro 2016 campaign this summer, was restricted to just 22 appearances in all competitions last year due to injury.
