Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing former France Under-21 international defender Clément Lenglet, according to The Sun.

The Premier League side, who defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at Wembley Stadium on Saturday to reach this campaign’s FA Cup final, have been linked with a summer swoop for the highly rated Sevilla centre-back.

The 22-year-old, who has featured 10 times for France’s Under-21 side, has scored four goals and provided one assist in 49 appearances in all competitions for the La Liga outfit so far this season.

Lenglet, who only joined the Spanish side from Nancy back in January 2017 for a reported fee of €5m, has played 68 games overall for the club.

The report suggests the Red Devils have added the Frenchman to their summer wish list ahead of the transfer window, although United may face stiff competition in the form of La Liga leaders FC Barcelona for his signature.

Lenglet impressed against United during their UEFA Champions League ties back in February and March, and is valued at around £20m.
