Manchester United can secure a place in next season’s Champions League by winning two of their last three Premier League matches.

Erik ten Hag’s side currently sit fourth in the Premier League table, four points ahead of fifth-placed Liverpool.

Two wins will therefore be enough to ensure a place in the top four, although fewer than six points could be enough depending on Liverpool’s results.

United have enjoyed a successful season so far having lifted the Carabao Cup in February, and they could make it an even better one by beating rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup final at the start of June.

Regardless of whether or not they are victorious at Wembley, it appears that the Manchester outfit are already preparing for next season.

As per Il Mattino via The Sun, Napoli defender Kim Min-jae has agreed to join United this summer.

The report claims that the centre-back, who has been in sensational form this term, has agreed to move to Old Trafford when the transfer window reopens, with just the last few details of the deal to be finalised now.

Kim has reportedly agreed to join Manchester United this summer

Kim, 26, joined Napoli from Turkish side Fenerbahce last summer and has since played a key role in helping the Italian side to their first Serie A title in three decades.

The central defender has been linked with a number of Europe’s biggest clubs in recent weeks, but it appears that the Red Devils may have won the race to sign him.

It is claimed that Napoli are already searching for a new defender to replace the South Korea international, who has made 43 appearances across all competitions so far this term.

Kim has helped Napoli to keep 15 clean sheets in the Italian top flight so far this season, with the Naples outfit winning the Scudetto with four matches to spare.

The player’s release clause is believed to be between £43 and £52 million, figures which could provide Napoli with a healthy profit on a player that they paid just £15 million for last year.
