Manchester United are reportedly closing in on the signing of Brazil international defender Alex Sandro, according to Caught Offside.

The Premier League side, who have signed defender Diogo Dalot (FC Porto), midfielder Fred (Shakhtar Donetsk) and goalkeeper Lee Grant (Stoke City) so far this summer transfer window, have been continuously linked with a move for the Juventus full-back ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.

The 27-year-old, who has 10 international caps for his country, scored four goals and provided six assists in 39 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A champions last season.

Sandro, who joined the Italian giants back in August 2015 following his transfer from FC Porto, has netted nine goals in 114 games overall for the Turin outfit.

The report claims United have ‘agreed personal terms’ with the left-back ahead of a potential summer move to Old Trafford, though The Red Devils still need to convince Juve to sell the Samba star, with the Italians valuing Sandro at £53m.

He is contracted at the club until June 2020.
