Manchester United aim to strike personal terms with Jadon Sancho before making an official bid to Borussia Dortmund, according to reports.

The 20-year-old has been a revelation since moving to Germany from Manchester City in 2017, scoring 34 times in 96 matches.

This form has attracted interest from Manchester United but, as it stands, they have yet to meet Dortmund’s £108million asking price.

However, the Mail reports that the Red Devils are trying to agree a contract and agent’s fees with the England international before approaching the Bundesliga giants with a new bid.

Sancho has 11 caps for England.

Dortmund previously set a deadline of August 10th so it remains to be seen whether or not the Old Trafford side can now get a deal done this summer.

Sancho started his career at Watford before moving to Man City in 2015 and then Germany two years later.

The forward is currently on international duty with England where he could take part in the Nations League fixtures against Iceland and Denmark.
