Manchester United and Barcelona discussing player swap deals this summer according to La Liga expert Guillem Balague, speaking on his Youtube channel.

It is thought the Catalan club will discuss player swap deals with a number of clubs including Man United and Juventus.

Due to their current financial plight it’s unlikely the club will pay any large transfer fees, but could still do good business by swapping a number of their talented group of players.

Attacking players such as Antoine Greizmann and Philippe Coutinho could make their way out of the club, with defender Samuel Umtiti also being touted.

Despite his Liverpool connections, Coutinho could add so much to the United team.

This could bring some welcome transfer news to Manchester United, who could be interested in all three of those players.

La Liga expert Balague shared his thoughts.

He said: “For the case of Barcelona, they’re friendly with Manchester United, Juventus, with Inter and are having conversations about the possibility of swapping players, perhaps sometimes adding money.”
