Germany international defender Antonio Rudiger insists he is not concerned by speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United or Chelsea, according to Goal.

The Premier League duo, who sit eighth and fourth in the English top-flight standings respectively after their opening 10 league games, are understood to be eyeing a future swoop for the AS Roma centre-half having recently returned from injury.

The 23-year-old, who has 11 international caps for his country, has scored one goal in three appearances in all competitions for the Serie A outfit so far this season.

Rudiger, who has returned to action for Roma after being ruled out of Germany’s Euro 2016 campaign following cruciate ligament damage, is instead focused on returning to top form with the Italian side.

He told a news conference, “There’s a lot of talk about changes in the squad, but I’m really happy to play for Roma.

“I’m not bothered about transfer rumours. In the end, I’m happy to be healthy again. It wasn’t easy but now I can play again.”
