Manchester United are reportedly lining up a summer raid for Netherlands international Kenny Tete, according to the Daily Mirror (via the Metro).

The 13-time Premier League champions, who defeated rock-bottom Aston Villa 1-0 on Saturday at Old Trafford to confirm their relegation to the Championship, are thought to be closely monitoring the highly-rated Ajax defender ahead of the conclusion of the current 2015-16 campaign.

The 20-year-old, who has two senior international caps for his country, has provided one assist in 30 appearances in all competitions so far this season for the Eredivisie outfit.

Tete, who only made his first-team debut for the Dutch side back in 2013, has rejected a new deal at the Amsterdam Arena and could be available this summer for transfer.

The report suggests that Tete, who can also operate as a centre-half, is valued at around £5m.

However Serie A giants Juventus are also thought to be interested in the defender’s services as well.
