Manchester United are tipped to sign promising Birmingham City youngster Jude Bellingham this summer, by Kevin Phillips speaking to the Football Insider.
The Ex-Sunderland man was discussing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s capture of exciting youngster Jordan Hugill who the Red Devils signed from Sunderland last week.
Hugill, only 16 has signed for United and it seems as thought they could in for another young talent in the way of Bellingham who is also the same age.
However, Bellingham hosts a lot more experience, having already starred regularly for Birmingham in the Championship putting in performances way ahead of his years.
Ex-Sunderland man Philipps believes United will sign Bellingham too.
He said: “The history of Manchester United, the system they have there and the young kids they have had come through there – it is the best place for a lot of rising stars like Hugill.
“It looks like Jude Bellingham could be going there as well, from what we’re hearing.”
