Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer cuts full-back Cameron Borthwick-Jackson’s loan spell at Tranmere short, according to the Daily Mail.
The 22-year-old has spent this season on loan at League One side Tranmere, but due to the injuries wracking up at United, Solskjaer made the decision to recall the youngster.
Summer signing Harry Maguire was the latest to hit the treatment table this week, having missed the Manchester derby with a hip problem.
The Red Devils are already struggling for consistency as they attempt to reach the all-important top four of the Premier League this season.
Borthwick-Jackson has made five appearances for Tranmere this season, and will now turn his attentions to a very busy period for Manchester United.
