Manchester United will face Premier League rivals Leicester City in the FA Cup fourth round after defeating Arsenal on penalties on Sunday.

The Red Devils took the lead at The Emirates courtesy of Bruno Fernandes but were pegged back by Gabriel’s goal just moments after Diogo Dalot had been sent off for the visitors.

The Gunners then missed the chance to go in front when Martin Odegaard’s penalty was saved by Altay Bayindir, and Ruben Amorim’s side held on to send the tie to extra-time.

Neither side could find a winner during the additional 30 minutes, sending the game to a penalties, and Bayindir was the hero for United as he saved from Kai Havertz to earn United a 5-3 win.

Off the pitch, it appears that United are chasing a Champions League winger.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Red Devils are interested in Red Bull Salzburg winger Dorgeles Nene.

Romano claims that United have added the Mali international to their list of possible targets for the current transfer window.

He also claims that United have already held talks with Austrian club Salzburg about the potential requirements to make a deal for the 22-year-old happen.

Nene joined RB Salzburg from Guidars FC back in 2021 and has since spent time on loan at fellow Austrian sides Liefering and SV Ried, as well as Belgian outfit KVC Westerlo.

He has made a total of 58 appearances for Salzburg across all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing ten assists.

The Mali international is contracted to his current side until the end of the 2027/28 season, and Romano claims that United are now discussing internally whether or not to make a move to sign the player this month.

Nene primarily plays on the left flank but is also capable of operating on the right or centrally.
