Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward urged to sign £90million rated Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez this summer, Jason Cundy told Talksport

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is certainly in the market for a striker this summer, keen to avoid the nightmare of last season where he started with just three senior strikers in his squad.

One of which was Mason Greenwood, who back in August was not considered a first team regular, couple that with injuries to Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford forced Solskjaer to sign Odion Ighalo on loan in January.

Looking ahead to next season, the Red Devils will be certain to look for a striker and former Chelsea player as urged the club to sign Wolves marksman Jimenez.

Cundy said: “You’ve not replaced Lukaku. You’ve not, and I think you’ve got to address that,”

“Your goals are coming from all over the pitch, which is obviously a good thing, but you need a striker.

“Martial does the job but I don’t know whether I can see him scoring 20 goals a season.

“The boy at Wolves, Jimenez – and Wolves fans are going to hate me right now – but United would be a totally different machine, a totally different machine with him up front.”
