Manchester United are reportedly set to complete the signing of Sweden international striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer, according to Sky Sources.

The 13-time Premier League champions, who defeated Crystal Palace in the 2016 FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium last month, but could only finish fifth in the English top-flight standings this term, have been continually linked with the former Paris-Saint Germain striker.

The 34-year-old, who has 112 international caps for his country and is set to star for Sweden at EURO 2016 later this month, scored a remarkable 50 goals and provided 19 assists in 51 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 champions this season.

Ibrahimovic, who is a free agent following the expiration of his contract at PSG this summer, is understood to be close to finalising a one-year deal to join new manager Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

The report also suggests that the Swede superstar is the only striker United are pursuing as they want to ensure they give teenage forward Marcus Rashford enough game time to continue his development.
