Manchester United consider signing Kalidou Koulibaly this summer as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer demands Ed Woodward to back him, according to the Evening Standard and the Express

There’s no doubting that United’s levels of performance rose considerably following early January. Remarkably their form from February 1st until the end of the Premier League season would have seen them top the league.

A major part of that upward trend in success was the arrival of Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon, a shrewd acquisition from manager Solskjaer.

Sancho is still very much on United’s radar.

Fast-forward seven months and with the Red Devils finishing third in the table and hunting down a Europa League win, the Evening Standard have reported that Solskjaer has had a private word with chief executive Ed Woodward, demanding to be backed.

Jadon Sancho seems to be at the top of United’s wish list, but the Express have reported that Solskjaer wants to boost his defensive capabilities with Napoli superstar Koulibaly.

If the Red Devils were to sign both players, fans could not help themselves in getting majorly expectant for a very good season next campaign.
