Manchester United are said to be preparing a £30m bid for Belgium international defender Thomas Meunier, according to the Guardian.

The Premier League side, who secured a late 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on Saturday, have been linked with the Paris Saint-Germain full-back ahead of the upcoming January transfer window.

The 26-year-old, who has 18 international caps for his country, has scored three goals and provided two assists in seven appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 giants so far this season.

Meunier, who arrived at the Parc des Princes back in July 2016 on a four-year contract following his transfer from Club Brugge, has netted five times in 43 games overall for PSG.

However, the report suggests the right-back is considering his future in the French capital after becoming tired of playing second fiddle to defensive team mate Dani Alves, starting just six league games this term and failing to feature in the UEFA Champions League.

Therefore Manchester United are reportedly weighing up a £30m offer for the Belgian, who is also said to be attracting interest from Real Madrid and Juventus.
