Manchester United are reportedly continually scouting Brazil international defender Alex Sandro, according to the Mirror.

The Premier League side, who defeated rivals Liverpool 2-1 at Old Trafford on Saturday, have been linked with a summer swoop for the Juventus left-back.

The 27-year-old, who has 10 international caps for his country, has scored three goals and provided six assists in 29 appearances in all competitions for the defending Serie A champions so far this season.

Sandro, who joined the Italian giants back in August 2015 following his reported £22m move from FC Porto, has netted eight goals and registered 17 assists in 104 games overall for Juve.

However, the report suggests United are weighing up an end of season swoop for the Samba star, with Red Devil scouts continually monitoring the full-back this term, despite his £70m price tag.

The Premier League club would be willing to double Sandro’s wages to £145,000-a-week in a bid to lure him to The Theatre of Dreams this summer.
