Manchester United are reportedly set to revive their interest in Brazil international defender Fabinho, according to Marca (via the Express).

The Premier League side, who defeated AFC Bournemouth 3-1 at Dean Court in their 2016/17 league opener on Sunday, have been previously linked with a move for the AS Monaco full-back before the close of the summer transfer window on August 31.

The 22-year-old, who has four international caps for his country and was part of the Brazil squad at this summer’s Copa America, scored in his side’s Ligue 1 opener against Guingamp last week.

Fabinho, who was loaned to La Liga giants Real Madrid back in 2013 from Rio Ave, scored an impressive eight goals and provided five assists in 47 appearances in all competitions for the French outfit last season.

The report suggests that with fellow defender Matteo Darmian being linked with a move away from Old Trafford, Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho could look to lure the Brazilian to The Theatre of Dreams as his replacement.

It also says that United would hope to complete the deal for around £26m.
