Manchester United are reportedly interested in snapping up France youth international starlet Adam Ounas this summer, according to the Daily Mirror.

The 13-time Premier League champions, who sacked boss Louis van Gaal after guiding the Red Devils to victory in the 2016 FA Cup final over Crystal Palace at Wembley Stadium last month, are thought to have already made contact over a potential deal for Bordeaux’s highly-rated attacking midfielder.

The 19-year-old, who has two international caps for the France Under-20 squad, scored six goals and provided three assists in 30 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 outfit this season.

Ounas, who made his first-team debut for Bordeaux back at the start of October 2015, has emerged as a potential transfer target for new United manager Jose Mourinho (Pictured) at Old Trafford.

The report suggests that it would take a large offer for the French club to consider selling their prized asset, with the midfielder still contracted until 2019.
