Manchester United fans react to crucial Griezmann news

Summer wouldn’t be summer without a long protracted Manchester United transfer rumour which ends with the Reds signing a player for a huge fee.

This time round its Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann who has been the subject of huge speculation with the latest reports indicating a deal to take him to Old Trafford may have already been agreed in principle.

United are keen to secure the 26-year-old’s services as Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s future remains unclear, while there’s also question marks on just how ready both Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford are to lead the Reds’ attack next season.

It won’t be easy to bring Griezmann to Old Trafford, as the striker remains one of the most sought-after players in Europe and a lot may depend on whether Jose Mourinho’s side achieve Champions League football next season, but for the moment it appears a deal is very much still in the pipeline and the Old Trafford faithful have been giving their reaction on social media:
