Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag will be hoping to see his side continue their good run of form when they face Everton on Saturday.

The Red Devils are in the best form of any Premier League side over the past five matches, having won four of their games.

They travel to Goodison Park on Saturday to face a Toffees side that were handed a 10 point deduction last weekend, after being found guilty of breaching the Premier League’s sustainability regulations.

One player that will be hoping to feature for United against Everton is Mason Mount, who has struggled since arriving in Manchester.

The midfielder has failed to have much of an impact at Old Trafford, but The Athletic claim that the player ‘doesn’t miss’ former club Chelsea.

The 24-year-old joined United from the Blues over the summer, having made 195 appearances for his boyhood club across all competitions.

Mount has struggled since moving to Manchester United

He scored 33 goals and provided 37 assists for Chelsea, winning the Champions League in 2021.

Despite being part of the club since the age of six, Mount departed West London over the summer after failing to agree a contract extension with the Blues.

Since moving to Old Trafford, though, Mount has failed to score and provided just a single assist in 12 games for the club.

The Englishman has only started four Premier League games so far this season, with Ten Hag seemingly preferring the likes of Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes as attacking midfielders.

Mount himself is said to be frustrated at his recent lack of playing time, with the majority of his appearances for United so far having come from the bench.

Having cost United around £60 million to sign from Chelsea over the summer, Ten Hag will be hoping that Mount can soon recreate the form that he displayed during his time at Stamford Bridge.
